  • Appointed to the Film Classification Board by the Government of Manitoba Canada.
  • Numerous poems published in the Urdu language in various journals
  • Has been invited to participate in many Urdu poetry recitals with internationally renowned poets
  • Performed in many private and public sitar recitals in Canada and the U.S.
  • Launched a CD of sitar / poetry in 2004
  • Published  two coffee table books of poetry and paintings in 2005 and 2010 with all proceeds donated to SAVE THE CHILDREN CANADA – UNICEF
  • Painting used for the filming of a Canadian movie "The Atwood Stories".
